Our world faces critical challenges, like poverty, climate change, violence, and migration, that have been shown to negatively impact mental well-being. We need structural, scalable solutions that can help prevent mental health problems and promote well-being at the population level.

This talk explores the potential of integrating preventive and promotional mental health interventions into sectors that address the social determinants of mental health, and highlights the importance of interdisciplinary skills as key component in public mental health research.
